A 48 year old man has legally adopted his 42 year old girlfriend as his daughter "in what one attorney is calling an attempt to shield assets in a wrongful death civil suit..."

I believe this is just his way to make sure his money doesn't go bye-bye while hes serving 30 years for DUI manslaughter, leaving the scene of a crash, and vehicular homicide.
