Tornados
With the tragedy that occurred in Joplin, MO last May it has become increasingly noticable that people are not taking tornado warning serious anymore. Many people claimed that it isnt until they see the sky darken or their windows implode that they head for the basement. So to help combat this and in doing so will also allow an experiment to incur, The NWS plans to implement scare tactics. Yes! Scare tactics... Meaning that "offices in Kansas and Missouri will use words such as "mass
devastation," "unsurvivable" and "catastrophic" in a new kind of warning
